For years, The Trinbago Unified Calypsonian's Organization's digital platforms have focused on competition updates, results, and official notices only. Today, this is no longer enough as times have changed and our audience has evolved. With this in mind we are now transitioning our digital platforms from an information channel into a living, breathing media platform for our calypso culture and member activity.
A New Kind of Presence
Moving forward, TUCO’s official platforms will carry a wider range of content, including:
Member features and spotlights
Event coverage and behind-the-scenes moments
Cultural stories and historical reflections
News and updates from across our Calypso community
Original mini-series and mini-documentaries

Serving a Growing Audience
TUCO represents over 600 active Calypsonians.
At the same time, our digital platforms reach:
Over 30,000 followers
More than 1 million people monthly
That audience extends across Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, and the global diaspora. This shift ensures we are not only speaking to our membership, but also engaging the wider community that continues to support and carry the artform forward.
Evolving With the Artform
Calypso has always been about voice, commentary, and connection.
As the way people engage with culture changes, TUCO is stepping forward to meet that moment.
This evolution allows us to:
Promote our members more consistently
Share the stories behind the music
Capture the moments that define the culture
Keep Calypso active in the public conversation year-round
This Is the Next Phase
TUCO remains committed to its members and the artform, but now, with a stronger digital presence, that voice will travel further, reach more people, and live beyond the season.
