TUCO Election 2026: 37 Candidates Confirmed as Financial Voter List Stands at 530

The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation has confirmed its list of candidates and financially up-to-date registered voters ahead of the 2026 National Executive Elections.

According to the official Statement of Nominations, 37 candidates have registered to contest positions across the National Executive. The race for President will feature Ainsley King, Kurt Allen, and Nikeisha Duncan-Charles.

For Vice President, the candidates are Roger Mohammed and Steve Michael Pascall. The General Secretary race includes Marsha Clifton and Shirlane Hendrickson, while Mc Morris Edwards and Nicholas Ashby will contest Assistant General Secretary.

The position of Treasurer will be contested by Melissa Williams-Campbell, Denis Cox, and Wendell Moreau. For Assistant Treasurer, the candidates are Camille Noreiga and Kerine Williams-Figaro.

For Public Relations Officer, the registered candidates are Crystal Charles, Jeremiah Combie, and Rondell Donawa. The race for Assistant Public Relations Officer includes Marcus Reece Seepersad, Meguella Simon, Sherma Orr-Watkins, and Ta’zyah O’Connor.

The Marketing Manager position will be contested by Devon Seale and Joseph Adams. For Education & Research Officer, the candidates are Joseph Rivers, Andre Samuel Williams, Tammico Moore and Joseph Thompson.

The Welfare Officer race includes Alicia Richards, Carlston Kerr, Karene Asche, Makeda Darius, and Rohan Richards. The candidates for Trustees are Eunice Peters, Kenson Neptune, Hamidullah Wahid, Kenneth Thomas, and Lesley Ann Ellis.

The membership document lists 570 members overall, with 530 marked as financially up to date as of 30th June. The financially up-to-date voter breakdown by zone is North: 145, South: 138, Tobago: 131, and East: 116.

With the candidate list and financial voter list now confirmed, TUCO moves into another important stage of its election process as members of the calypso fraternity prepare to choose the next National Executive.
