Tameika Darius Will Be A Guest Performer At The Leeward Islands Calypso Finals Tonight

Trinidad and Tobago calypsonian Tameika Darius will add some Trini flavour to the Leeward Islands Calypso Monarch tonight, making a special guest appearance at one of the region’s major calypso events.

The competition takes place at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre in Anguilla and brings together leading calypso performers from across the Leeward Islands as part of the 2026 Anguilla Summer Festival.

For Darius, the appearance provides another opportunity to carry Trinidad and Tobago’s calypso tradition onto a regional stage, connecting with audiences beyond home while sharing the artform with the wider Caribbean calypso family.

With competition, culture and regional talent all coming together tonight, Tameika’s guest appearance gives T&T calypso fans another reason to keep an eye on Anguilla.
