Eastern Queens Bring “Messages in Calypso” to Kafe Blue This Sunday

The Eastern Queens are set to deliver a strong evening of calypso, commentary and live entertainment with “Messages in Calypso” on Sunday July 5th, 2026, at Kafe Blue, Wrightson Road, Port of Spain.

The show runs from 6PM to 10PM and features a packed cast of performers including Brother Valentino, Terri Lyons, Cardinal, Tameika Darius, Tiny, The Messenger, Ife Alleyne, Banjela, Kinte, Niko Ash, Sweet Estalita and Marilyn Edwards.

Patrons can expect a night rooted in the tradition of calypso storytelling, social reflection and strong musical delivery, supported by live music from Oral Rodriguez and the Razor-Sharp Band. The event will also feature backup vocals from Marilyn Williams and Ricardo Roberts, with Errol Fabien serving as MC.

Tickets are priced at $150 early bird and $200 at the door. Complimentary drinks will be available for the first 25 patrons, and door prizes will also be up for grabs.
